So I have this habit of hopping up onto the counter and soaking my feet in hot water in the kitchen sink. Today I’m sharing my blend to give you happy feet! As a bonus, when you’re done this will give your disposal a little care too. I hope you planted some lemon balm earlier this summer, because now we’re taking advantage of it! You can also use fresh mint or rosemary leaves.
What you’ll need: Epsom Salt, sprigs of lemon balm, and honey
Epsom salt is a mineral compound that has long been used for a variety of health purposes. I have arthritis in my hands and soaking them in Epsom salt seems to help. It’s very inexpensive and can be found in stores from Publix to Walmart.
Directions: Simply run hot water into your container of choice. Sprinkle ¼ cup of Epsom salt over your feet as the water is running and massage in to your feet. Drizzle in a couple of tablespoons of honey and toss in your herbs. Take a few moments to enjoy your foot bath and breathe in the scent!
When you’re done, tear your lemon balm or other herbs into chunks. Pull the plug and turn on the disposal.
What do you think would make a good addition to the foot bath?
Cheers and Best Dishes,
Ashley
